What to check before interpreting a buy
Compare the amount with the insider’s previous transactions and existing holding. Open the source disclosure to review the security, ownership form and footnotes. Several rows can belong to one filing or one economic decision.
A reported purchase is a research lead. It does not establish that a stock is undervalued or that a future return will be positive. Grants and option exercises are different events.
